Tempest Nitro

Tempest Nitro is a remake of the classic Tempest Atari, but with new twists and turns. The you will try and survive as long as you can, warping between levels as you become swarmed. Take out enemies, some old and new, and progress throughout the levels trying to gain the largest score possible before losing your lives.

A single player space shooter, Atari Tempest remade into a new form.

Fight for your lives and defeat the enemies that continually hamper your advancement.

Varying enemies require attention and spatial awareness.

Success is not possible, but how long can you survive?

Created for a game jam with the restriction of an Atari remake with same control pattern. You will be using A/D to move left and right between the lanes and using your space bar to shoot. You have five lives to work with throughout the entire play. Avoid projectiles, enemies, and the spike mines down the lanes in order to keep your lives at the highest level.
